Message from the QUUF Board President

The following was published in the Order of Service for Sunday, September 23. It is important for all, even those who missed the service, to receive this message.

“We have received a lot of feedback in the past few weeks about various changes to the Fellowship and the Sunday service that our Interim Minister Rev. Helen Carroll is in the process of implementing. These concerns include both specifics about the service, the organizational structure, and the decision making process used to make changes. We want you to know that you are being heard, that we are taking all such concerns seriously and that we are talking to Helen about these concerns. Helen is here in part to help us make needed organizational changes, and as a board we want to help her do that in the best way that will work for QUUF. While we work this out, we will keep close our ideals to be open, to be inclusive, deliberative and consensus driven, and to use the democratic process in our decision making. Please continue to let us have your feedback on how you think things are going, and we will do our best to uphold our covenant to be compassionate and respectful in serving our community.”

Nils Pedersen, President, Board of Trustees, QUUF

If you wish to provide additional feedback, please forward your comments to nilspedersen@q.com. I will forward to members of the Board and to our ministers.
