Unitarian Universalists don’t tend to believe in a traditional “vertical God” who is removed from human living, a supernatural being that somehow controls from afar. If we believe in a God at all, it is a “horizontal God” – felt all around us, living in and among us as an ongoing creative, evolutionary power or force. This is the God of Process Theology.
