My UU Journey

As a young child I attended the First Paris Unitarian Church in Concord, Massachusetts dressed in a Sunday School dress with shiny Mary Jane shoes. Yes, we dressed up for church back then. 62 years later I am rarely in a dress, but Unitarian Universalism is central to my life. It has been my spiritual … Continue reading My UU Journey

What Motivates Lifelong Activism

My sermon is deeply informed by my past and current relationship with the unsheltered. And what is needed now – what you can do. And that starts with loving kindness and compassion. Click here to view the service. Click here to read the reading and sermon.

Youth Bridging Ceremony

As a religious community we celebrate rites of passage, and today we honor our older youth as they pass from youth-hood to young adulthood, or “bridge.” Our 6 bridgers will share with the congregation on this point in their lives and honor their transition to adult UUs.
