Jean Walat is a transplanted East Coaster who joyfully moved to Port Townsend in 2000 with her spouse Gail Bernhard and son Ethan. With many others inside and outside QUUF, she’s been working since the 2016 election on behalf of immigrant rights. She talks about what she has been finding helpful in maintaining enough hope and equilibrium to stay engaged with national issues without burning out in these often tormenting times. We also welcomed Bertram Gulhaugen as QUUF’s new Music Director.
