Community: The Secret Superpower!

In a world that often feels chaotic (hello polycrisis!), we gather to remember that community is our hidden strength. Together we can create spaces where hearts connect, hands work side by side, and each person’s light is honored.

Rev. Kari Kopnick serves as the Community Minister for The Chaplaincy Institute, an interfaith ceremony. She cherishes everyday rhythms and the connections that sustain us. Most herself outdoors; wandering forests, listening to the shore, or watching the dance of the sea. She values balance, relationships, and well-being as the foundation for a meaningful life. Kari lives in Kent, WA, tending native gardens, sharing her yard with hummingbirds, and caring for an elderly, deaf dog. She is a proud mother of three grown sons and three daughters-in-law, and has been partnered with a dear curmudgeon for 38 years. Ordained as an interfaith minister, Kari is honored to walk alongside this congregation and community in the work of connection, belonging, and spiritual growth.
