Starting August 1, 2023. Rev. Hart comes to us from Tacoma, where she serves as minister for the Tahoma UU Congregation since 2017. She earlier served as Tahoma’s Developmental Minister for three years. Linda is a lifelong UU, well-known among Pacific Northwest UU ministers, serving for the past three years on the Pacific Northwest UU Ministers Association Leadership team, and as a UUMA Good Officer, working with ministers in conflict situations. She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School and received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago and Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Maryland College.

Beau has been working with QUUF families since 2015 and is passionate about working with each family’s particular interests, challenges, and talents to build resilient, loving, and spirited community. He lives in Port Townsend, is a licensed foster parent, and spends his free time with his family (including his godson), walking, reading, baking, and cooking. He is a member of the UUA-affiliated associations TRUUsT (Transgender Religious professional Unitarian Universalists Together) and LREDA (Liberal Religious Educators Association).

Jenell is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist with a love of people and a strong track record of non-profit administration. In addition to starting the first Domestic Violence Shelter in Northern Idaho, Jenell has worked with the Girl Scouts, Big Sisters, AIDS patients, and the education organization for the historic tall ship, the Adventuress. When not working, she enjoys creating art, gardening, road trips and international travel.

Christina Tweed moved to Port Townsend from New Orleans in 2017. After moving around to several parts of the country to pursue a career as a marine mammal trainer, she decided it was time for a career change and settled here to be closer to family. When she is not working, Christina enjoys wildlife photography and loves to travel. Christina has been a member of QUUF since she moved to PT, and prior to her role on staff had already been singing in the choir and involved with the Adult Learning Program committee. She started as the Tech Support Specialist in 2020 to support QUUF in learning all the new technologies required for online services and virtual communication and connection.

A Los Angelina who should have been born in the Pacific Northwest, Holly has now been in the area for a total of 35 years. She is an artist and owned by two cats. She is always looking for ways to aid the community at QUUF.

A native Washingtonian, Sarah loves to be living on the peninsula with all that nature has to offer. She lives with a wonderful poodle and two indifferent cats. Her background includes Planned Parenthood, Microsoft, and now focused on end-of-life matters, normalizing conversations around death and dying. She enjoys working with QUUF and being a part of the community.

Bryan has been in Port Townsend since 2019 and at QUUF since Spring 2023. Aside from navigating parenting, he enjoys cooking and cleaning, and has a fondness for antique and vintage items. He loves being a part of the QUUF community.

 


Rev. Bruce Bode

Rev. Bruce Bode

Minister Emeritus

Bruce A. Bode, a native of Lynden WA, retired in June 2018 after 14 years of service to QUUF.  The Fellowship conferred on him the title of Minister Emeritus, with gratitude and love, in recognition of his long and dedicated service. During his time here, Bruce led us from a Pastoral to Program-size congregation, which included a major addition to our facilities. He inspired all with his Sunday Services, poetry classes, and his passion and dedication.


Kathy Stevenson

Director of Family Ministry Emerita

Kathy Stevenson was QUUF’s Director of Religious Education (along with many other responsibilities along the way) from 1987 until her retirement at the end of 2018. In recognition of her service to QUUF for over three decades, Kathy has been designated Director of Family Ministry Emerita. A life-long Unitarian and an early childhood educator, Kathy was devoted to our children, parents and all QUUF congregants.
