WEDDING POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is available for weddings of members and non-members, including those with no formal religious affiliation. All weddings are to be officiated by the current minister of Q.U.U.F. or an approved clergy or officiant selected by the bride or groom.
- If the Q.U.U.F. minister is used, the wedding couple will consult with that person and design a wedding service. Scheduling of the building and paperwork will be done by the Office Administrator.
- All non-member weddings require the services of a building host and church custodian.
MUSIC:
The piano may be used, and the wedding party is responsible for choosing and hiring the pianist (dependent on schedule, Q.U.U.F's pianist may be available). The wedding party may also provide for other music. If the full sound system is needed, arrangements need to be made at time of booking.
PHOTOGRAPHERS & VIDEOTAPERS:
Please consult with minister before service.
BIRDSEED AND BUBBLES: Throwing rice is NOT permitted on the church premises of the building at any time. Birdseed (on the graveled parking lot) and bubbles are allowed out of doors. Please, no mylar confetti.

Reservations may be made up to 1 year in advance. A "Wedding Data Form" must be completed and signed.
- Reservations are confirmed upon receival of "Building Use Fees".
- All Fees are due at least 30 days before the scheduled day of the wedding.
- Cancellations requested 60 or more days before the event will receive a full refund.

FEES AND BUILDING USE:
Fees are listed on the "Wedding Fee Schedule" form (on the back of the "Wedding Data Form"). A refundable security deposit in the amount of $200 is due when securing the wedding date at the church office. The deposit secures the date, and also covers possible breakage and/or failure to comply with the policies in the document. If there are no claims against the deposit, it will be fully refunded the week following the ceremony. All other checks (see below) must be received by the church office 30 days PRIOR to the day of the wedding.
Member weddings: There are no building use charge or fees for ministerial services to those Q.U.U.F. members who have been members for at least one year, except for musician and/or custodial services.
DECORATIONS:

Greenery and flowers may be placed on windowsills, provided adequate protection against water stains are used. Candles must be dripless, and supported by non-flammable candleholders.
