KITCHEN DO'S AND DON'TS

As stated in rental policy forms, the QUUF kitchen is to be used by arrangement only, with the Office Administrator.

Dishes, cooking utensils and silverware are generally not to be used. Coffee and tea water pots, and cups can be used with permission, but renters must bring their own supplies such as coffee, tea, milk sugar, etc.

Since it is not an official commercial-sized kitchen, it has some limitations as far as how many people it can serve at one time.

The dishwasher has a long cycle, which means that some dishes may have to get washed by hand. If an arrangement for dishes to be used is made, they should all be washed, dried and put away afterwards. If the dishwasher has not finished its final cycle at departure time, it is okay to leave it full and running.

In the spirit of the 7th UU Principle, please help us to affirm and promote respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are all a part. Please make choices:

As a renter, please be aware of these choices. All washables are available for your use. Please be respectful and hang wet rags, napkins, and tea towels to dry and place dry ones in the bags by the door. If you choose to wash cloth supplies, please return promptly.

The kitchen clean up should follow the kitchen section of the "Church Closing Checklist", which is posted in the kitchen and by the back door.
