Adult Learning Programs Committee (ALPS)

Purpose: To provide opportunities for intellectual, imaginative, cultural and spiritual growth for adults within the Fellowship. Many programs also serve persons in the community at large.

Membership: The committee shall consist of a chairperson appointed in a manner consistent with Bylaws Articles VII, Section 1(a) and Article VIII, Section 1(b).

Responsibilities:

  1. Solicit suggestions from the congregation and the Minister as to the needs and wishes for programs. Develop these whenever possible.

  2. Encourage and solicit volunteer facilitators for programs within their areas of expertise.

  3. Invite experts from outside QUUF to volunteer their services as facilitators.

  4. Assist program facilitators with calendar, publicity, and materials needs.
