Personnel Committee

Purpose: To provide an effective interface between the fellowship staff, the Board and the membership of the congregation.

Membership: The committee shall consist of a chairperson appointed in a manner consistent with Bylaws Articles VII, Section 1(a) and Article VIII, Section 1(b).

Terms: Members of the Personnel committee shall serve two-year staggered terms.

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet as needed to make Personnel-related decisions.

  2. Conduct annual evaluations of all staff; adjust job descriptions as needed.

  3. Work through any difficulties or conflicts involving staff or contractual employees.

  4. Make hiring and firing recommendations to the board.
