Designated Offerings Committee

DESIGNATED OFFERING COMMITTEE  (Revised 1-22-10)

Mission Statement: To identify, connect with and support organizations that seek to meet the needs of the larger community in ways that express QUUF values.

Some guidlines for selecting recipients include the following:

  • Groups that are local in focus have preference over national or international groups.
  • Groups that are addressing needs that are underserved in the community.
  • Groups with financial needs that are not broadly supported and are distinctly related to the stated values of the QUUF congregation and the Seven Principles.
  • Groups will usually have a 501 c 3 tax status in order to receive funds as a non-profit agency.

Emergency situations will be addressed in as timely a manner as possible by inserting them as a regular designated offering recipient or by a special offering if the need is great and acute.
