Ongoing Programs
Covenant Groups
Covenant groups are designed to provide a small group setting in which persons can speak openly on life's concerns and attentively listen to others doing the same. They also provide an opportunity to get better acquainted with others in the Fellowship and become real friends. Typically, these groups of 5-8 persons meet twice monthly from October to early June, though each group determines its own schedule. Contact: Reverend Bode
Early Bird Book Discussion Group
The Early Bird Book Discussion Group meets Sunday mornings at 7:50 am for discussion of interesting books. All welcome. Questions: contact Reverend Bode or call the church office.
Friendship Suppers
On the third Saturday evening of each month, a small group typically gathers to share good food, interesting conversation, and considerable laughter. These dinners are a great way to get to know others who come to the Fellowship. This is an informal potluck with the host supplying the main dish. Email Jenifer Taylor to reserve your place at the table.
A-HA!
Everyone is welcome to come to A-HA (Agnostics, Humanists and Atheists)! Our group of around 25 gather in the QUUF fellowship hall every first and third Sunday. We provide a time and place for fellowship accompanied by discussions of interests and concerns that address the questions of life. Each of the discussion topics are suggested by an A-HA! participant and a "conversation facilitator" is present at each gathering. We follow a routine: 4:30 set up the room, then socialize; bring a potluck dinner dish & your own beverage/your own washable table service. We eat at 5pm; discussion begins at 5:45; at 6:45 we clean up, putting the fellowship hall back into order; 7ish lock the door. Come for any or all parts of the gathering: set-up & social time, the potluck, or the discussion/clean up.
