#MeToo Evening at QUUF

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

All women, girls and people who identify as women are invited to participate in a #MeToo Gathering in our sanctuary on Saturday, January 13 from 7 to 9pm.  Led by Rev. Kate Lore, Tess Taft, Joanna England, LaVaughn Snell and Abi Crecca, the evening will include reflective music by the Threshold Choir led by Amy Ringle, a “letting go” ritual, guided mediation and the lighting of candles of remembrance – all in an atmosphere of unconditional love and support.  This is a “come as you are” event where all experiences and emotions are welcome, and where no one is required to speak if they choose not to.  Members of the QUUF Pastoral Care Team will be present for anyone wanting a listening ear and individual care. Childcare will be offered, but please sign up with Kathy Stevenson so she knows how many children will be attending. A special note for men, boys and people who identify as men: Stay Tuned – A #MeToo for Males Gathering will take place in February (date TBA) under with guidance from Rev. Bruce Bode.  Please contact Kate Lore with your questions, concerns or willingness to help.
