Introduction to Religious Education
The Mission of the Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Religious Education Program is to provide an environment that nurtures spiritual growth and opportunities for religious discovery through teaching and modeling our seven Unitarian Universalist Principles.
At QUUF we are engaged in a life-long search for truth and meaning in our lives. As participants in our Religious Education Program, we explore our roots, our heritage, and the language and meaning of religion. We offer no indoctrination, but rather an opportunity to explore one’s own questions and shape one’s own convictions.
Vistors Always Welcome
Families are invited to visit any Sunday morning. They will be given a green visitor form to fill out so we know who the child is, and whether they have any food sensitivities. There is also a red packet for visitors to take home. Parents/Grandparents are welcome to stay with their child, or settle them in and return to the sanctuary for the service. If you arrive early enough, there is an opportunity to introduce you to the teachers and the Religious Education Staff. Families register for RE when they have visited a few times and feel it is a good fit for them.
